AI Content Disclosure

1. Why we publish this

Readers deserve to know how an article was made. Safegram News uses AI tools in parts of its production process. This page sets out exactly where they are used, where they are not, and who is accountable for what is published.

2. Human accountability

Every article published on Safegram News is reviewed by a named human before it goes live. Responsibility for accuracy rests with the Safegram editorial desk at Safegram Ltd, Dublin, Ireland, and with the founder, Silvestru Macoveiciuc. No article is published without that human review.

3. Where AI is used

AI tools assist with research summaries, first drafts, headline and summary suggestions, image description text, and translation of English articles into the other languages we publish in. Drafts are checked, edited and fact-checked by an editor before publication.

4. Where AI is not used

We do not publish AI-generated quotes, interviews, sources, statistics or events. Every factual claim is traced to a public, checkable source — a regulator publication, a court document, a platform policy, or an on-the-record statement. Where a source exists, it is linked in the article.

5. Translations

Articles are published in ten languages. Non-English versions are machine-translated from the English original and carry the same facts, sources and corrections. The English version is the reference version. If a translation reads incorrectly, tell us and we will fix it.

6. Images

Article images are either licensed photography, original Safegram material, or illustrative images produced with AI tools. Illustrative images are never presented as documentary evidence of a real event, person or place.

7. Corrections

If something is wrong — whether written by a person or drafted with AI assistance — it is corrected and logged publicly on our Corrections page, with the date and what changed. Report an error to team@safegram.com.

8. Changes to this disclosure

As our tools change, this page changes with them. Material changes are reflected in a revised effective date.
