Circles · Live

Your people. Your space.

Circles are smaller, trusted communities on Safegram, built around something you actually care about — a sport, a neighbourhood, a craft, a creative scene. The people in them are identity-verified, the conversation stays inside the group, and when a Circle wants to meet up it turns into a Plan.

What a Circle is

A Circle is a small community rather than a broadcast audience. Instead of shouting into a feed, you're in a room with people who share the same interest — and everyone in it has a real, verified identity behind their profile.

  • Interest-led, not algorithm-led
  • Verified members you can actually check
  • Small by design, so conversation stays human

The kinds of Circles people build

Sport and fitness groups, neighbourhood and local Circles, creator and freelance scenes, hobbies and crafts, study and career groups, parents and family communities. If a group of people would benefit from meeting up, it works as a Circle.

Circles and Plans, together

A Circle is the community. A Plan is what the community does. Any member can propose a Plan — a Saturday run, a coffee, a padel game — and everyone in the Circle can join it with the visibility rules the host chooses.

Trust inside every Circle

Circles sit on the same trust layer as the rest of Safegram: free identity verification through our partner Didit, visible verification on every profile, encrypted conversations and EU-hosted data. Safegram does not store ID documents or biometrics.

Why smaller is safer

Large public feeds reward whoever shouts loudest. Smaller, verified communities reward people who actually show up. That's the whole point of Circles — fewer strangers, more people you'd be happy to meet in person.

Frequently asked questions

What are Safegram Circles?

Circles are smaller, trusted communities of verified people on Safegram, built around a shared interest such as a sport, a neighbourhood or a creative scene.

What's the difference between a Circle and a Plan?

A Circle is the community; a Plan is what that community does together in real life. Circles create Plans, and Plans have their own private encrypted chat.

Are Circle members verified?

Verification is free, takes about a minute and is run by our partner Didit. It's required for anyone selling on Safegram and strongly encouraged for everyone else, so most members you meet in a Circle are verified.

Is what I post in a Circle private?

Circle conversations stay inside the Circle rather than being pushed into public feeds, and direct messages on Safegram are end-to-end encrypted.

Does joining a Circle cost anything?

No. Joining Circles and verifying your identity are both free.
